You reach Villa Klarici, our Villa on a Hill, which faces Motovun, via the small local tarmac road that quickly takes you up from the Mirna River valley and through a few tiny villages.

Ryanair fly into PULA, Istria, three times a week in the season, including Tuesday and into TRIESTE (It) daily.
Thomson fly into PULA (Cro) from Gatwick, Birmingham and Manchester on a Tuesday.

Ryanair have flights to Trieste (It) from London STANSTED every day, also Birmingham and Bristol (& Brussels) to Trieste, N Italy. Also to Venice.

Your own transport is essential and we recommend booking your hire car in advance. If picking up a hire car from any country other than Croatia, please ask for 'permission' to drive into Croatia (and Slovenia, if this is the case) and for this be formally entered onto your car hire documents on booking, and ensure the clerk at the pick up desk is also aware. This is quite routine, but essential.

2010 Tuesday Changeover - Rationale
We have now introduced a TUESDAY CHANGEOVER day so that our guests can pick from the increasing number of flights direct into PULA airport, Croatia, on a TUESDAY. Ryanair and Thomson for example, fly into PULA from several UK airports.
Flights into other airports, eg Ryanair into TRIESTE (It) are also available on a TUESDAY. Budget flights are often very reasonable and less crowded on a Tuesday.
